winterize my sunseeker mbs?

We have a new 2015 2400r mbs.
Nothing in my manual on using the gizmo in the storage compartment that sucks antifreeze into the lines.
Is there an instuction manual?
I asked my dealer and his response was "we don't give that info out, you have to have it done by a service dealer"

There is so many variations on line , I can not seem to locate my system.

Can anyone help?

If it is like my 2014 Solera R, move the lever to "winterize" , place the end of the hose in the anti freeze and then turn on the water pump. Open fausets until anti-freeze comes out of each. Be dure to bypass hot water heater before winterizing. There are several threads on the subject. Last but not least; never use that dealer again!

In addition, remove the water filter element and place a plastic water bottle in the housing to take up some of the space. Do a thread search for more detailed info.

winterize

Thank you for that simple explanation.
Bypass the waterheater will be my next question, I will check for shut off valves first.

Water heater is located below the closet on the R.

Pull the drawer out and you will see the bypass valves.

And yes, fire that dealer!

Located near you water heater ( below the wardrobe on my 24R ) are 3 valves, cold in, hot out and the third between the two. If Memory serves, close the two and open the valve between to bypass water heater. Again there are threads with photos to show.

When removing the water filter do you spill any water from the filter and housing or is there not much water that is retained in the filter? I ask because on my S floor plan the filter is located under the rear bed and above an area I would not want to spill water.

Also, my understanding is that if you're going to blow the lines you would want to remove the filter and replace with a water bottle or some receptacle that would retain and water getting blown through the system.

I'm fortunate to be able to store mine in a conditioned space that won't be less than 50į F during the winter months so I'll likely just drain everything and blow the lines so I don't have any stagnant water and avoid any antifreeze because of the ambient temperature in the garage.

Thanks!

If I was not worried about freezing I would not do anything. I dont winterize mine or blow the lines (North Florida). I do sanitize my system each time If I have had it parked for more than a month. Overkill, but that is just me.

Read up on it so you don't miss some stuff like; get pink into your toilet flush system, blow out the check valve on the city water connection, outside hose, etc.

I want to know the dealer who actually said "we don't give out that information and you have to have it done by service"
That is a ridiculous statement from your dealer.
