Wrong Fuse for Starter Motor 2010 Solera

Not aware if anyone has had this problem....Freightliner Solera 2010 has a wrong fuse for the starter motor. Slot 23, where the starter motor fuse resides in the fuse box is 20 Amps. It should be 25 Amps. After being stranded because the Freightliner wouldn't start, I took it to a Mercedes dealership and was advised that there was noting wrong with the circuit. The problem was the wrong fuse was in the slot even though the online owner's manual shows a 20 Amp fuse for that circuit. Called Mercedes in NJ and they confirmed that the starter motor fuse should be 25 amps.

I learned about this the second day I had mine, wouldn't start, found the answer on the Sprinter forums.

There was another thread on here about this:

Can't Start!!

Thanks Nat. It was two years before I had any problems. I will monitor the Solera forum more often. The people here seem to know what is going on better than Mercedes and RV dealerships.

Same here. It took 2 years to burn the first one. But then it burnt 3 in the next few trips. Changed it to the 25 and no more problems.
