27 vfk v-cross ladder question

I have a 27 vfk v-cross its a 2011. I want to put a latter on the back of it but I have the fold down cargo carrier witch is no big deal I'm gonna short in the ladder a little . This is making the with smaller. The problem I ha e is its a little long can I mount it from the roof to the bumper or does it need to be only mounted to the main unit either was it don't matter I have a tubing bender. If I can Mount to bumper it will make it a lot easier. Thanks for any info on this matter.

Curious, Why do you want a ladder?

First thing I did was casters, I have upgraded TV to a 32" and added a 22" in bedroom. added a computer and 1TB external hard drive to watch movies on. I posted pictures in the mod thread. Did you have issues with the axles?

With the fiberglass laminated walls you need backing plates in the areas for attachment points such as the awning and the ladder. As yours didn't come with the ladder option you need to hope that the backing plates are there but you need the optional ladder and mounting points or you'll have nothing to attach the ladder to. If you contact V-Cross with your VIN, they should be able to tell you if there's ladder mounting plates on your camper and their exact location. The contact number they list in their brochure is 574 975 0272.
