323QBS Hot water heater

So we are brand new to this rv that we purchased and we are running into several problems. One of them is our hot water is not hot at all. It is lukewarm at best and only last about 30 seconds. I have the hot water in electric mode and using propane. Everything seems to be functioning fine except for we do not get hot water. Does anyone have any idea what may be the issue? Is there a thermostat that I have to turn up or something?

Now just hope that there was water in the water heater tank or your electric element may be fried.

There was water. I had all three valves in the open position which was allowing the cold water back into the hot. The valves that were entering and leaving the hot water heater will both open.

So can we take it that your issue was resolved and you have gallons of nice hot water now?

Don't feel alone, as this is very common and the reason we have this sticky thread at the very top pf the plumbing subforum:

Why do you want to heat hot water? If it is already hot it doesn't need to be heated, does it?
