A/C vents

So I just did my first mod to the front and rear a/c duct.
Does anybody know were to get the vents that are one directional and close. The only ones I've seen are smaller than what's in here.

These are what I want to replace
(Pic is side ways...that is the roof vent)

Here's what I used in my bathroom ceiling:

JR Products ACG25DPW-A Polar White Adjustable Ceiling Vent with 0.25" Collar

Did you have the same vent I posted? Mine is 7" and the inside is 5". Wondering if it will be close enough to fit.

Here are my measurements. I did not have the same original vent as you.

I can't pull it down right now but the inside opening is slightly larger than what I measure as this is the inside of that.

Ac vents

There is a ring that you mount first and then the vent clips into it. My bet is this one would work if your inner circle is 5".

Thank you very much for taking these pics. Seeing the tape measure up there helps. I'm thinking these will work, going to order one now to try out. Thanks again

Update......So the Vents Didn't Fit,They Were To small. I also tried another but it was also to small.
On the one in the link above, the mounting holes are at the edge of the hole in the roof. I'm thinking I might be able to still make it work by using the original mounting ring as the base for the new vent or by making tabs to screw into..., I'll update with what I come up with, as I've still not found any others.

There are a few of us that have changed our large a/c registers.

Here is the thread where I made some mods and the vent part numbers are in post #11. Bamas Rambling Mods

Glad they worked for you, and that I was able to give a little assistance.

Just curious, how did you remove the old vent? I can't seem to get mine out.

There is 2 pieces, a ring that's screwed to the ceiling and then the actual vent. The vent will just pop off the ring.

As Bob said, they just pop out of the mounting ring. Get a fingernail (or small flat screwdriver) under the lip of the vent and pry down.

DW Jetstream's website sells a few different options from color, collar height, and diameter. Anyone done it for a new vibe 313? If not I'm gonna pop it out in morning.
