Bathroom in 268RKS

We went to PU our new trailer today. We fell in love with the floor plan at a show the beginning of February and we have now been waiting since then for our trailer to arrive. But... When we looked at the show the bathroom had a solid between the bathroom and bedroom. Today when we went to pick it up it has a sliding door between the bathroom and bedroom. I'm not a fan - but the hubs doesn't care either way. Anyone else notice this change &/or have any thoughts, pro's/cons, etc?

Pro - Sliding doors take up less space than swinging doors
Con - Less privacy IMO

Yes. There was initially only 1 door in and out and I was shocked today when there were 2. I know it's not a huge issue. But it was a big surprise to me.

One of the cons to ordering a unit. Factory can change anything at anytime. Only way to truly know what you're getting is to buy off the lot.

Wow, that's interesting. That part of the wall on ours is reinforced to support a TV in the bedroom. Curious as to why they decided to put in a pocket door.

@wz3mo - after seeing both would you now prefer the extra door?

Actually I prefer having the wall. Is it something they changed for the 2017 model? Ours is a 2016.

One thing that having the extra door is it probably creates a good air flow to the bedroom! That would be a plus.

Ours is a 2016 - and I think I prefer the wall as well. We have 2 AC's in our unit so I'm not too concerned with airflow.

My husband and I were surprised by that extra door when we picked up our 268RKS, as well! We decided we liked it- it adds more maneuverability around the end of the bed. Also, there is a spot for a small TV on the wall.

I was most surprised by the fact that the toilet is about 1" off the wall. I'm 6'4" so I'm having to get used to sit diagonally facing the shower since my shoulders are too wide to sit on it facing forward. Guess I should have tested that better out before we bought it haha
