No, the propane cover still fits, I just hadn't put it back on. I have had 3 adult bikes on with no issue and zero interference with clearance on truck

Let me share my tale of woe so that you don't make the same mistake. I hung three bikes on the back bumper of my 268RKS Vibe. The Vibe bumper is attached to the frame via 4 structural rivets. About 100 miles from home the top two rivets loosened allowing the bumper to swing down at a 45 degree angle thus dumping and dragging the bike on the highway. The lower two rivets stayed attached. I'm not sure what the rear bumper weight limit is but 3 bikes and a bike rack exceeds it. My solution was to come home and weld the bumper to the frame and add additional welded support brackets.

Cmysstailights,

Bottom line don't do it. However, you bought it, and will use it.

Forest River warranty fine print, any add ons you put on that frame, bolted and/or welded, you voided your Forest River one year warranty on any frame issues, period no exceptions, unless you have written permission from FR.

I would not use that front bike rack until after your one year warranty runs out, hopefully there is not a clamp marks to show the dealer you connected an add on.

If anything, you should of contacted FR to get the second year warranty for 250 bucks, which means no bike rack for two years on the frame.

Good luck!

The Jack-it looks great. Does it work for two bikes with the tapered front cap on the Vibe campers?

Just took a look, love it. Wonder if it will fit with the vibe nose

2 Bikes no problem
Well I’m not sure
It does kind of lean ok maybe not leaning but the bracket is closer toward the trailer so you have lots of room to manoeuvre the truck
Contact Lippert they have great tech

I used "custom" straight verticals and welded a stub to bolt my rack to. Between the two, it moved the bikes back 16-20"

They're up there though. Jeesh. It's rock solid though. I like it.
