Drain hose separation and AC

Have a 6502 with the pull out for the kitchen. I noticed a significant leakage while out on our first extended trip. When I pulled the facade to access the plumbing I noted that the flexible drain hose had disconnected from the hard plastic drain hose. The tech who put my unit together had attempted to seal the two using electrical tape. I cleaned up the hoses and pipe and used normal PVC glue to reconnect and it seems to be holding. Overall, I'm quite happy with the vibe except for the lack of bedroom ventilation! which I fixed by putting in a window, and the lack of a variable speed AC fan.
