I believe this came up quite a while ago. If memory serves me correctly, there is a "screw" on the top side of the player that is used to keep the dvd insides in alignment during shipping. Supposedly they were suppose to be removed prior to installation in tt. Hopefully this is correct info and not another bad dream on my part. Another thing is to check inside the dvd slot and check for something (paper, label, etc) stuck there.
