Filling water tank

My wife and I went to Yellowstone state park in Wisconsin last weekend. Had a slight problem filling up my fresh water tank. Normally the water fill stations have a standard garden hose connector. This station had about a half inch copper pipe with a 90 degree angle and threads at the end, no way a garden hose would connect to that.

Anyone ever run into problems like this and how did you work around them?

No because their fill station wasn't a standard garden hose size. It's much smaller than your garden hose. I've been to a couple different state parks and this is the first time I've come across this type of setup.

I think that's what he is saying the water bandit would do. Did you watch the video on Amazon? Looks like it takes all sizes smaller or larger and the end you see that is garden hose, that part is standard so it will work with your rig.

I went ahead and ordered one just to have on hand. Seems like a good thing to have on hand anyways. If this doesn't work, I can always get a hose clamp on it and tighten it up to whatever side pipe it is.

For all those wonder, I just got the water bandit today. It looks like it will do the trick. I'm going to put a hose clamp around it in the center just to be safe on smaller pipes. The top part of it is large for garden hoses and it gets smaller toward the center for smaller pipes/hoses.

Thanks for the help everyone.
