That works but it shows a small portion of the latest action. There's also a "new posts" button up there that will show you all the new posts that you may have missed. That's what I use/prefer.

Not sure how your trailer didn't burn down. My furnace throws a massive amount of heat out of that vent.

When the technician came out, he took pictures of the places inside the camper that were burned. We are very lucky.

I think the site team works hard to keep things going on the forum and I don't think for one minute they are in anyway other then RV owners attached to FR.

SeaDog,

Thank you for your service. I was not criticizing the site team or moderators as a group.

I'm very happy that the OP and his family were not found DEAD. That is a very serious overlook and plain stupid from FR and the Suburban Rep at the plant as I stated in an earlier post. These things are supposed to be inspected. But there is no reason on now picking on as you last sentence called out Mr. Turbs. Myself I wouldn't call his post chastise a new member. The Moderator explained why they allowed this and the reason which I do respect, after he posted. I see no need for this kinda of banter now or ever. Lets all just be glad that the OP and his Family are still alive.....

Glad everyone is OK and hopefully ALL FR lines are taking a few minutes to conduct some Safety training to ensure this never happens again!

A couple of brief points--
The site team are all volunteers who just like to read and blog about RVing.
The site owners are not affiliated with Forest River RV.

The site does have rules which we strive to maintain. We made an exception to the "avoid multiple posts on the same subject" rule because this was an
exceptional goof by FR and we all agree it's important to be seen by any member who might be affected.

One of our MOST important rules is to "BE NICE" and calling out another member who merely stated one of the rules is not nice.

I've removed one post that was deemed not nice and edited a couple others that quoted it for thread clarity.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program!

Oddly enough, I tried to revisit this thread yesterday by searching. I searched "furnace" and "vent". This thread never appeared in the search results. Just searched again and it still doesn't show.

I am using the search in the banner or whatever it is called. Where it has Portal, User CP, Library, FAQ, Community, Calendar, New Posts, Search, Quick Links and Log Out.
just used the other search function and it still doesn't show. I've had issues with teh search function before trying to find a thread that I knew was in here.
