Good trip, a few questions

Well, we slept five in the 6504 four weeks. Tight but worked. Air conditioner is very loud.

So I emptied the tank into a portable holder mid week. Hard to do because the waste tank nozzle is so low to the ground. I noticed the 6504 is low to the ground. Does anyone use the jacks to raise a bit when they set up? Draining into a portable tank was not easy and I didn't get it all.

Also I noticed the metal attachment that holds the waste pipe up from the carriage is snapped. Have to replace that.

It practically takes overnight for the fridge t get cold, but once cold it was very good.

I use a small fan to help with airflow to the back bed.

Otherwise all went pretty well. It did seem like we went to 2/3s of the black tank quickly. I had a no poo rule, but with four women sharing with me (Dad) I guess that happens.

My only advice is for the fridge. We have a Surveyor Sport, so out TT's are quite different. However for the fridge, the day before I want to turn ours on, I pack the fridge and freezer with ice packs to get the interior down to temp before I turn ours on. It works well for us.

I do the same thing...use a couple of fans to get an air flow to the back bed and I also find the AC a bit noisy so try to use as little as possible.
Also, I agree, the fridge takes time to "cool" and the last couple times I get it going the day before which seems to work nicely.

Keeping the door closed while waiting for the fridge to get cold will help. Also make sure the door is completely closed too. Many members will turn it on a day or two ahead of time. For a big group you might try using a cooler for drinks & snacks.

Don't recommend using the stab jacks to raise the unit because you can damage them. I'm wondering if you can use some leveling blocks to park on to raise it up a bit.
