Most tables either have legs that fold down or poles that are removed so the table will lay flat and the cushions are placed on top.

The two round posts pull out of the floor mount and the table mount. They are hard to pull out. Try turning them while pulling.

My 2016 268RKS dinette doesn't make into a bed. The table top will come off but the spacing between the seating is too far apart for the table to lay across to make a bed.

I find the dining table bed is terribly uncomfortable. Use an air mattress on it.

I would be contacting the dealer regarding that, because that's a manufacturing flaw. I have the same trailer and mine works. Worst case if it's out of warranty, you could glue and screw a length of 2×3 down each side where the skinny little strips are. Should do the trick.

Mine does the same thing. Idiots at the factory can even make sure the table is the same width as the gap between the seats. I haven't gotten around to it yet but I need to cut a piece of 1x3 and install along each side.
