Leaving the Vibe forum
We traded our Vibe in for a 2016 Coachmen Mirada 35KB. We bought the Vibe to see if RVing is something we really wanted to do. We drug it around for about 8,000 miles in less than 2 years, with 5,000 of that in one 15 day trip.
We only had 3 real issues that would have required warranty service; the power cable under the slide, the rails to hold the dinette table to make it into a bed and the awning motor. I re-engineered the slide power cable myself as the dealer could only fix as designed. I did the same with the dinette rails and the awning motor went out this summer on the first day of a 3 week trip, so I just ordered one from Amazon, had it delivered to the campground and replaced it myself. I did a lot of little things to tighten it up and make it more to our liking.
Our last trip with the Vibe was the 1st week of October to Gulf Shores State Park, AL and with the exception of one tire with slow leak from a screw in it, we had a really good time. On the way home DW said how much nicer it would be to travel in a "driving rv". I did not expect it from her, but said that I could make that happen. So now I have a Coachmen sitting in the garage.
Overall we really liked the Vibe and would not hesitate to recommend the Vibe line to someone.
See ya in the Coachmen forum.
