Newbie Owner 2014 V-Cross 6504

Hey Everybody, I'm a newbie owner to a 2014 V-Cross Vibe 6504. My wife and I wanted to start with a smaller used camper so that if we screw something up we didn't waste a ton of money, lol.

We love it, but we have 3 little kids so I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to any modifications we maybe able to do? I saw a few posts where someone upgraded the axle on it or added a bumper. Would these be recommended by any current / former owners of the 6504?

Thanks in advance for any advice. info or warnings.

Welcome Jason and family. In order to save some storage space, you may want to strap a 5" pvc fence post to underside of frame for storing stinky slinkies. Makes access to and storage of easy and the mess stays outside. I strapped mine to underside of bumper using 36" zip ties. Since you dont have bumper I suggest under frame on the plumbing discharge side if possible. To keep slinkies on place I use a 1\4 x 5.5 inch screw with nylon jam nut on one end. With a fam of 4, I would look at possibility of a full size refer. Not sure that would fit. Not sure I would go much beyond that since kids will grow rapidly and you may find you need the bunk house.
