Nice Long Trip .. Some Lessons Learned and Such

Took the 6504 to the Chincoteague Oyser Festival. Great fun. We were the only Vibe I saw . A few things we continue to learn. Any tips welcome:

Gas mileage 13.2 (over 400 miles) not great not bad

Absolutely need to nearly empty the back storage, and place weight on the tongue via the kitchen area. We put our black plastic containers there - that hold tools, etc. Plus our portable grill and a few other things. It really helps with sway. We started without that, and I pulled over and fixed. Then, little to no sway from Philly to Virginia

I need to create lifts for under the tires and get the camper higher. The sewage tap in was slightly elevated. The sewage lines on the 6504 are so low, I had to essentially fill the sewage line and lift it to empty over and over again. I'm thinking of using 2x10s .. three staggered with the top one having enough room for wheel blocks. Any other ideas are welcome.

Heat worked great. Mattress needs to be upgraded.

People loved the Vibe. We got a ton of nice comments.

We have the same problem with our 261bhxl and the black/gray water drain is low. What can be done to make the processes easier?

That's a great point to be made about the Black Water tank as well a great idea. I'll need to consider that for next year.

Quick question. What do you have for a tv?
