No Winter in NC?

I'm thinking of getting the tt out of winter storage early if we don't get a winter.

Quit complaining. You can use all the money saved on heating to pay for overpriced fuel to go camping. Of course I see fuel prices rising with the excuse that "we didn't sell enough heating oil to make our 3 million a day margin we need to operate."

Please take no offense, I'm in central NC also, and except for one or two nights, would not have worried if my trailer had not been winterized. Is tempting to go one week-end.

There is hardly any snow in the Seirras and only three days of rain in California so far. It is cold enough to freeze the water pipes in a lot of the high elevation camp grounds though so they are closed. Maybe we are all going to see a really late winter. It can rain a lot in a shot time here in CA.

Remember 2005 (I do, another story on why). Jan '05 was this warm and then Feb. and March was COLD and had a pretty good snow. Hang on, winter IS coming. But I know what you mean on want get the TT out. My kids are as ready as we are to go camping.

Don't jinx us ! It was 70 yesterday here in central carolina and will be 70 again this week. Who needs to be a snowbird ?! If the campgrounds around Jordan Lake were open, me and the bride would camping now ! I'm sure ole man winter has more instore for us evidentually.

What's going to happen if we don't get a hard freeze, is when we are camping in the summer. We are going to have mosquitos the size of my fist.
