Wind can play havoc on a tow. Making certain your hitch is set correctly can make a big difference as can your tow vehicle. Your hitch can make a difference as well and you do have sway control, right?
Good looking inside and out. Congrats!

Captn John- yes we did get the Equalizer sway control bars- it was just such a horribly windy day! Pretty scary when we were brand new- will never again travel in high winds. Learned fast! The trailer withstood the beating it took, nothing fell apart after we towed it through Hell- so we are really happy!

In 1984 on a trip west I had to pull over and put the corner jacks down. Found out later 2 semis had been laid on their side so I could not have gone another 75 miles as the road was blocked. When pulling TTs I always opened a window on each side as it seemed to help when being passed by a big truck flying by. Now with a 5er and F250 sway is almost nil.

Nice rig. With the exception of the outside kitchen that bad boy is identical to my Salem 27RKSS. Happy camping.

"Very scary traumatic drive that first day, never hauled a trailer before, learned a whole lot, including- do not haul a trailer in a windstorm!!! " What did you tow it with?

Welcome!
Hi Cyndi. We just picked ours up Feb. 10th. Fulltiming as we gave up our leased condo end of Jan.
WE are really enjoying ours so far. Have been in 4 CG's since we got it, not pulled it a long distance yet. Think you're gonna love it!

Hi Robert & Ann!
We plan on full timing also, when my husband retires in September. Plan on selling our house and taking off! We have daughters literally all over the place and a granddaughter just born on March 3rd. Plan on wintering in AZ, as that is where she is! Glad you are enjoying it so far, good to know!

Pretty good size tt to be pulling with a 1/2 ton. I'd diffidently stay away from driving in high winds. Come join the BamaGanza FROG rally in AL October 5 to 9 2016. Of course your profile show two states AL and MI. Later RJD
