Only whites lights work.

My remote only works on the white lights. I confirmed that there are color lights however the only buttons that seem to work on the remote are the ones in the middle that control the brightness of the lights 25% 50% 75% 100% and the on off none of the color buttons work at all.

Any Idea's?

Pull the control panel down and look to see that the wires coming from the light strip are connected properly to the remote control module property. That was ultimately the issue I had...the morons at CW couldn't figure it out... it took me longer to unscrew the 4 screws than it did to actually fix the problem. Good luck.

Most light strips have cut indicators ever three chips. On many the cut section is marked on the cut section with the signal names. While only strips have +5V and ground. On color strips there are four conductors +5v and R, G,B. If your controller is for single color, it will not allow you to control colors even if you have a color strip. It will control the intensity of one color. If you have a white only strip, a color controller will only allow you to control intensity of the single color.
