Vibe 6500 moisture problem

We recently notice that our Vibe 6504 accumulates moisture under the queen mattress which is located over the external access storage hold.
(especially on cooler nights). I pretty much figured out the problem is that the 6500s are not insulated between the storage compartment and bed.
I easily solved the problem by installing 1 inch stryofoam between the mattress and interior panelboard.

PD,
Do you keep the external access storage doors closed at night?

I haven't noticed an issue, but we are located in a warmer climate. We have a trip planned in late September, I will check if we have the same issue in the cooler weather.

Did not seem to matter much if door was open or closed. On cooler nights, 10 degrees Celsius (50 Fahrenheit) or less seemed to result in dampness under the mattress. On cooler nights we would close all the windows to keep the heat in, however with 2 warm bodies on the queen size mattress it is logical that any humidity reaching the underside of the mattress and contacting the uninsulated floor over the exterior storage been would condense into moisture. (no different than humidity build up on the windows on cooler nights).

2 pieces of 2 foot by 6 foot Styrofoam 1 inch thick pretty much solved the problem.
