I have a 2013 6504 with the 3500 axle.My dealer has a 4400 lb axle with d rated tires and 15 in wheels on order for me at this time .Hopefully it will be in next week.I was really happy with my dealer helping with the cost ,even though it was out of warranty.I am glad to see this post on the Vibe.I have had very few responses to questions I have posted in the past.

I think you'll be happy with the axle/wheel upgrade. Just love the design of the Vibe. Looking forward to a lot of camping this season. I'll try to get some photos next time out to share on this forum.

Just wondering if anyone else upgraded their television size and how big you went?

6504 owner

Hi, I recently purchased a 6504 in Myrtle Beach but have yet to camp in it. Can't wait to take it out. I love the slide-out and the fact that I can tow it with my 2008 F150. I traded a 35' Cougar that I couldn't tow.

Does anybody have any MPG numbers. We are planning a 1,800 mile trip from south Florida to Tennessee. We hope to get 12 - 13 MPG. This will be our first trip with the Vibe, getting excited can't wait to get away. We weighed our trailer empty except for full bottle of propane and it weighed about 3,100 lbs. with a tongue weight of about 360 lbs. We are going to try to use our equalizer WDH rated at 4,000 lbs. which we kept when we sold our r-pod. I think in time we will need to upgrade to a 6,000 lb. WDH.

I am averaging about 10 mpg towing our 6504 with a Toyota Tundra 4WD with the 5.7 V8. I have the E2 round bar by Equalizer and it seems to do a great job.

We averaged 12-13 mpg towing with a sedona minivan, have not towed with the Ram yet.

We purchased a vibe 826vfk, 2014 model. I'm guessing that we have the newest axle?
We have our first trip scheduled in a couple weeks to Devils Lake WI. Looking forward to it.

Hi matt. I think the axle discussion was about the 6500 series Vibe and you have the bigger dual axle vibe. Have fun @ Devils Lake
