Where is the underbelly heater switch?
We just purchased a Vibe 268rks. The feature list and owners manual says we have an underbelly heater; however, I can not locate the power switch. Anyone know how this works?

In many cases the only reason they call it a heated underbelly is that the underbelly is enclosed and the unit heating ducts run through there. The losses from the ductwork keep the lines that are in the enclosure from freezing.
I personally have not seen an actual heater for the underbelly.

What it says is a heated underbelly, not an underbelly heater. Generally this means the underbelly is getting heat from the furnace.

On my Wildcat MAXX, there are 2 red toggle switches on the kitchen wall that are the on/off for the tank electric heaters. Some units do, however, as stated above have a furnace "run" that heats the enclosed underbelly WHEN the furnace is running.

x3 heated underbelly means when the furnace is operating the underbelly gets heat.

My heated underbelly gets really toasty when I ease into the whirlpool at the gym....

Thanks all. The owners manual has a picture of a heating pad and instructions for turning the tank heater on and off; however, my panel has no such control. I guess the manual is generic. The listed option is"Heated and enclosed underbelly ", supporting the explanation that ambient heat is the only source. Thanks for the feedback.

Tank heaters are generally an option and not standard equipment, not to be confused with "underbelly heat", which is entirely different.

Had the same question when we first bought our Flagstaff 831. Found out as others have stated that it warms the underbelly only when the furnace is running.

This is important to remember when you heat the RV with electric heat as no heat goes into the underbelly.

Again, those are not "underbelly heaters", but tank heaters as you stated yourself.
