2014 RPT-171 leak under shower pan

In the process of a general maintenance check, I removed the vent panel under the bathroom door and checked under the shower pan trap. It's evident that something is leaking at least a little; the cutaway in the floor under the trap was wet. Not sure if it's the trap or something else.

The trap does not seem to be readily removable for inspection.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any suggestions?

Trap connection to shower drain was not tightened fully. Some awkward work with Channellock pliers cured the problem.
