Battery charge??

We bought a pre owned 2015 RPod 179 a couple of months ago. The battery was not holding a charge so I figured it was shot and bought another. After sitting in driveway for a week or so , battery is dead.
What might be going on??

There are parasitic draws on the battery from the CO/Propane detector and the radio/DVD . These are significant enough to kill the battery in a week or two. There are three options.

1. If you have access to power, add a battery tender to keep battery charged without overcharging.
2. Plug unit into shore power and let the convertor keep the battery charged.
3. Add a battery disconnect switch or remove negative battery terminal so that battery can not drain.

One other caution. Be sure to check that you have not pulled the breakaway switch. Pulling the breakaway switch activates the brakes and will kill a battery in less than a day. It is easy to accidentally pull it when unhitching.
