Converter upgrade

Looking for anyone that has swapped out the WAFC 8735P that is coming in the current production Pods with a PD4135. Both PD and BestConverter say it is a direct replacement. I am seeing several noticeable differences.

What differences are you seeing?

I see that the cutout for the PD is a little bigger, but not by much.
They have the same number of 12v fuse slots.
They both have five 120v branch circuits plus the 30a main.

Did you do it? What did you gain? Would you do it again? Curious more than need to know, thanks.

Just replace the converter portion rather than the whole power center. Way easier.

+1 to change the converter and use the same distro box. Many good videos on the subject available.
