First Rpod purchase

We plan on ordering the 176T. We are downsizing from a Northcountry 33BHTS. We just want to camp and do small trips. Any thoughts.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Never owned an R-Pod but have been in a few at RV shows. IMHO they do a great job in utilizing the available interior space.

I had an R-pod for a couple years. I loved how easy it was to tow. What I hated though was the bed length. I am 6 feet tall and I could not sleep in the 6'-2" length for the bed. The only way was to lay diagonally in the queen matress Otherwise I could not point my toes and feel like the pillow was pushing into my neck.

I sold it and got a Wolfpup which has a 6'-8" bed length. Problem solved. Oh.. .the Wolf pup also has a dry bath so no standing in the shower to use the toilet.

We are from MN. I retired from the Army in 13 and we just want to go camping and walk trails and see the sights. We think the 176T would do the trick.

We went with the 176T for a family of 4 plus a dog. While we're selling ours now, we feel the tent portion sort of opens ups the space nicely and still gives you a feeling of "camping - vs. locked in a sardine can. Of note - the 2017 and forward models are 20' - giving you extra storage space.
