Ford Rangers

Is anyone towing their R-Pod with a ford ranger?? I have a 2006 4x4 with v6 4 cylinder Just bought a R-Pod 179, dealer threw in 60 watt solar, WHD and braking system.
Deal is not final so still time to back out although that's not the plan at time point.

your Ranger has a V6.. or a 4cyl? You state both..? and if a V6, which one?

Does it have a manual or automatic transmission? what cab?

Does it have a tow package?

It looks to me like, if you have the 4.0 V6, and an automatic transmision, you can tow a pod. No other engine/transmission combo is rated by ford to pull 3500 lbs.

Does the WDH have an anti sway feature?
I towed a large popup with a 2006 Ranger and it did very well.

Yes it is a 4.0 V6 automatic transmission with a tow package. However I was told I lost "my pig tail" I'm not sure if the WDH has an anti sway feature. I'll have to check and see.

Thanks for the link. It was helpful.
I appreciate everyone imput
