Fresh Water Tank Winterizing

We have never used the fresh water tank on our 179. We did sanitize the tank this past spring and that was the last time it held water. Do I need to add antifreeze to the tank or do anything special with this tank come winter?

Thanks,

Bernie

Open the drain valve and leave it open. Run the pump to remove any water in the suction line between the tank and pump.

You don't need to winterize the FW tank, just the lines.

Otherwise you'll have a terrible taste in the FW that you'll have to flush the FW tank numerous times to get rid of it.
The two places you don't want antifreeze are the FW tank and the water heater.
