Fridge flame guard

Hi, the little metal flame guard on the back of my Dometic fridge seems to fall off while towing, which doesn't seem normal. It seems to barely sit in place - is there something obvious I'm missing? I'm guessing that the flame is going to blow out while towing if the cover isn't in place. Any advice?

Hello, It looks like there should be a washer on that screw head. It won't fall off anymore. Hope this helps

That's what I thought too - that a washer was missing...

I agree...there should be a washer under that screw. While you're in the back check your drain hose to make sure it isn't plugged up. Our 180 did not have a drain guard to prevent bugs from crawling in to the drain hose...

Thanks for the suggestion. You can't see the whole reservoir, but the white box to the left in my photos is a small cup where the fridge drain collects. The odd thing about it is that the overflow on the cup faces toward the inside of the trailer (rather than facing the outside - away from the fridge), when it overflows, water drips on the framing behind the fridge and could potentially cause water damage over time. It doesn't seem to be something I can flip around, but I could extend the drain hose and bypass the reservoir altogether. I'll probably do that.

Run the little hose outdoors. Ours peeks out one of the grill slots.

You need the catch basin to collect the condensation. And the hose to get it out.

That makes sense, but it's not how my fridge is setup. There is a short hose that runs from the drip tray in the fridge into the reservoir behind the fridge. That's it - there's no hose that runs from the reservoir out of the fridge compartment. The existing hose that runs into the reseroir is not long enough to run out through the grill slots, so I'll probably extend it so I can run it outside.

What the photo doesn't show is that there is a small overflow slot on the back side of this reservoir that dumps the water on the framing behind the fridge.
