Jensen AWM975 Problem.

Yesterday, June 13 we took delivery of our 2015 182G. Took it to a nearby RV park for the weekend so we could familiarize ourself with the pod, so far so good, with the only exception, the Jensen TV. Radio and DVD player works fine, but when scanning for over the air (not cable) channels, nothing comes up, this while our next door neighbor has crystal clear (over the air) tv reception.

Upon going through the manuals that came with the unit, we could not find anything about the tv, although, the set up is pretty straight forward. I saw a posting on the facebook page to Forest River about the same issue, but there was no response to that question there.

Any advise?

No, from what i can tell, there's no crank for the antenna, looks like it is in a fixed position, but being a brand new owner, i could be wrong?

Ok look inside for an antenna booster I just read on another website yes you do have a fixed antenna but I also read about an antenna booster it should be a switch inside and close to your connections

Apparently there's one were you attach your coaxial cable, it's a small on/off button and when turned on a small red light comes on. Contacted the dealer, since i also discovered that this unit might have been installed with an older "Jensen unit," since it does not have Bluetooth, but was advertised as such. Dealer would look into it and come back to me with an answer, or solution.

We just got a 2015 178 R POD and did the same this weekend. Spotty TV reception (no cable). The antenna is a non crank type. R Pods have very little written on the antenna and how to adjust it. We are going to Camping World to see what they say.

Brochure says:
Quote:

r
Pods are prewired for cable and satellite television. rPods are also equipped with a highdefinition digital multidirectional antenna. The antenna is also not a crankup antenna. Enjoy watching the best quality television available at your campsite in your rPod.

There is not adjusting on Rpod antennas at all.

You hook up your TV cable, turn on the booster, and then go through the menu to scan for channels.

They are not the bet antennas so you will often see others with TV and you will have nothing or just a few channels. If you are getting none at all anywhere you may have a bad booster, this has been seen before.

Without the booster switch being turned on though you will always get zero channels.
