Home Depot & Lowe's Quality? No Way!

If you want a quality faucet DO NOT buy it at Home Depot or Lowe's. Buy it at a plumbing supply house or from Amazon where you will get the quality versions of the Moen, Delta and Kohler. Stay away from Price Pfister, whatever you do. They are junk in the professional line and totally useless in the Home Depot and Lowe's versions. All of these brands have specific lines just for these home centers which cannot be purchased from a plumbing supply house or from Amazon due to their lack of quality. They are all made in China for Home Depot and Lowe's with the various, well-known name brands attached to them.

Sad, but true.

Thanks

I went to a plumbing supply, and I replaced the faucet with a really nice one made of stainless steel and brass. The water flow is great, and the smell that we were experiencing, just from the kitchen sink, is gone. I took the sink out to get to the connections and found that the edges in the cut out for the sink were bare. The trailer is less than two years old, and I saw a short section of the counter top starting to swell. I sealed the raw edges before I reinstalled the sink. Thanks for the help.
