Manual override of rpod 179 slideout

I bought a 2015 rpod 179 yesterday. How do I manually override the slideout in case of failure? Where is the slideout control panel access? Thanks.

I have PDF of it I could email you if you want to send me a message here.

I think if you just google Schwintek manual over-ride you'll end up finding it for download somewhere.

Look underneath for the slide motor. Should be a "nut" where you can put a socket on and crank the slide open or closed manually.

Different type of slide on these models.

Thanks. I found the Schwintek manual online. I don't know if or where the control panel access location is though on the 2015 rpod179. Does anyone? Thanks much!

The control panel will be beneath the ottoman under a screwed down lid. Did you read the part where you would need a brace to hold the slide in once you disengage the motors if you had to push it in this way?

I own an RP179 also. I find the the R Pod forum ( separate from this Forest River site ) is very helpful. Happy trails,
