Hi all! Brand new rpod owner here. Not new to camping, but new to rpod. For those of you who have owned and used an rpod for a while, what do you like / dislike about the pod? We have not taken it on the road yet due to the weather, but can't wait to try it out. I'd appreciate everyone' input.
Welcome to the world of podding. We've owned ours for three years and have enjoyed it a lot. It's just the right size for the two of us. Coming from tent camping, the pod continues to remain like a palace in our minds. We especially like having a bathroom.
The only thing we don't like about it is that it causes us to get terrible gas mileage (11-12 mpg). But we have talked to a lot of trailer owners and no one is getting any better.
We have driven our pod over 50,000 miles, usually spending over 100 nights a year camping in it and still love it as much as the day we bought it.
The very best thing about the pods is the community that goes with it. For most pod owners this is their first experience with an RV. We have all had a lot of "beginner" type questions.
The level of support we (all of the podders) have received from the factory is outstanding.
