Picked up our new 179

We ordered our 179 over the winter, and picked it up today. We will take our first camping trip for two weeks this Memorial Day. Looking forward to see how we like it. I am very pleased with how it towes behind my Silverado. Like it's not even there. I added an husky anti sway. That works great. Just make sure your ball height his the same as your tung heights. Personally I would not recommend using a class3 hitch for the Rpod, I added a duel propane tank mount ,along with a fiberglass cover which added a little more weight to the tung. I have always towed duel axil rv's so backing up this single axil took a little getting used to. Now we just have to sell our other trailer, or purchase a dealers licence.

Howdy pmorris1
we purchased our 179 a couple weeks ago and plan to give it a test run next weekend, really looking forward to the outing. We're towing with a Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 H.O. Overland. We also replaced the standard 12v battery with 2x6v batteries along with a Zamp 80amp solar charger. We have 50 acres of property in the mountains but no cabin yet, this will be the trick for now, happy camping...
