R-Pod 179 Toilet Clog

My buddy has a 2017 179 that I use when he's not using it. I use it about as much as he does (long story there). We both have had an issue with the toilet drain plumbing getting clogged by not dropping everything into the black tank. I'm not sure, but it seems there's a 90 and a horizontal run of piping down there. Most recently had a clog after DW had one poo session (didn't flush TP) and 2-3 pee sessions with minimal TP use. Yes, we use plenty of water to fill the bowl before flushing and during flushing. Clog can be pushed out with a dookey stick, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks.

Did you ever get any ideas?
We are in an RP 181g 2011 and are clogged and can't seem to get around it.

I never did. It seems my problem is different than yours. My toilet always drained when I shoved something down the toilet drain and pushed it on through. My clog was definitely in the pipe that empties toilet wastes into the black tank. Basically makes the toilet unusable for any solids.

Google R-pod owners forum and ask your question there. Seems to be more activity on that site about R-pods.

Having the same issue with mine. Just got this air plunger which I am inching to try first trip out. I will keep you posted. It's unusual because the pipe is short enough to the tank and I am using Evernote safe toilet paper.

Ok. That'd be great. Yeah we even got a clog after several instances of DW using 2 or 3 squares. Something just don't seem right.

Are you dealing with a "poop pyramid"? Are you using plenty of water? You need to make sure that they black isn't ever being left open. Only empty when full.

Yeah I'm familiar with that rule. I've considered the poop pyramid theory. So I spend a good 45 minutes to an hour flushing and draining one day. Used the clear elbow fitting to verify all was clear inside the tank. Next afternoon, same problem. It's a frustrating one.

The only thing I dislike is it's not paid for.

Is that the name of a product??
That's even funnier!

I might have to buy one just so I can say I have a dookey stick.

Dookey stick sounds better than RV toilet wand. Besides, I use it as a dookey stick. [emoji90][emoji23]
