Refrigerator beeps

2015 RP171 dometic three way fridge. With camper level, on any power source, periodically the fridge beeps. Will beep thirty or more beeps, quit, then do it again. This can go on all day. I plug in to shore line at home, the night before leaving, to get the fridge down to temp. Ideas?

Is the gas turned on?
Battery charged up and disconnect switch on?
Is it cooling correctly?
Any errors on the front panel?

I pulled this info from the internet. This appears to be condensation in the door latch alarm. Some people use a can of compressed air (for computer keyboards) to dry the wires/circuit board.

"The problem lies with the wires and plug into the rear of the lamp unit becoming coated with condensation, which somehow activates the warning system - 30 beeps for 20 seconds repeating every 2min 40sec.

The cure is to pull off the plastic cover over the lamp unit, dry the wires and plug, and all is well - until the next time I assume.

A feature of the "fault" is that the fridge does keep working despite the alarm, so there's no need to switch it off if you can put up with the beeps until you are advised of the cure - OK if you can go out for a walk, but no good to sleep with."

Wilco... I think that's it!!! I recall seeing condensation inside the blue tinted cover at the door latch striker. I pulled the cover off and wiped the condensation off but wasn't able to blow it dry. I'll pick up a can of compressed air and give it a try this weekend. Thanks for your research.

Yes that is the fridge door panel issue. Unplug the light, dry it, follow the wires to where they go under some tape and you can caulk that area to help.

Blew it dry with compressed air and caulked under the tape. Let you know after this weekend's trip. Thanks for your help.

Also be sure the door is latching and sealing all the way around. Sometimes a door that isn't aligned well will let the moisture alarm have fits.
