Rpod 179 floorplan

Today I saw the Rpod 179 in person and really like the layout and deeper/longer slide. Has anyone removed the sink in the wet bath to gain a little extra space?

Rpod 179 floorplan

We had a 182G. We didn't remove ours but should have. It was too small to be useful. We've since upgraded to a Rockwood 2306.

Took our sink our the first week we owned our Pod. Makes a lot more room. Just need to talk to forest river and get a piece of the wall material to seal up around the hole it leaves.

Thanks. Sounds like I might be better off waiting for the frog rally to let them remove the sink and cover the whole. Would you also suggest ordering the rpod with the axle riser?

Here's a photo that shows the overall exterior of the new Rpod 179 floor plan. I can't wait for mine to get delivered in a few weeks.

Not sure if you have already ordered... But, IMO, axel risers are a must.

Yes, I did order it with almost. all the options including the axle riser and the java interior. Decided to hold off on the solar panels and bike rack.
