RPOD 179 Plumbing issue

This is the first time I've posted here. Hope I do it right! I had to pull the bathroom faucet assembly out to deal with a leak. In the process the small washer came off the hot water elbow and fell into the cavity below. (Sigh - I'm getting pretty clumsy as I age!) You can see what it looked like on the cold water side.

Question is, do I need it? The cone washer fits pretty tight on the stem. If the washer is required, do I just need to order a new elbow assembly from the manufacturer? Looking for some advice from you RV repair wizards.

When I checked at our HW store they didn't have anything that looked like this. The missing flat washer is what apparently holds the screw cap on the fixture. I still have the screw cap and cone washer but not the flat washer.
