Rpod roof type and sealant type question

I need to re-seal my exhaust fan on my 2012 Rpod 177.
There are so many different types of sealant!
What does Forest River recommend for the Rpod style roof?
I believe it is a fiberglass roof.

- thanks

Maybe someone else will chime in that's more familiar with that model, but if I was a betting man I'd put my money on Dicor self-Leveling Lap Sealant. It's compatible with both Fiberglass and Plastic..

Dicor 501LSW-1 Epdm Self-Leveling Lap Sealant-10.3 Oz. Tube, White, 10.3 Fluid_Ounces https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BRF7QE..._D9S0CbSD8RF1D

NOT a fiberglass roof.
Its either EPDM or TPO.
Dicor self-leveling caulk.
Should be roof material information in the trailer's paperwork.

From an actual Rpod owner, The Rpods roofs are gel coated fiberglass/wood framing construction. Dicor is the sealant of choice for many owners. Throughly clean the area with alcohol and apply self leveling Dicor over old on flat surfaces. It is rumored that the new 2020 195 does have a membrane covered roof. I have not personally seen one so can not confirm.

Welcome to the forum! The R-Pod is a seamless one piece fiberglass roof.... See the attached 2012 brochure for more details about your Pod.

I'd probably use Dicor as well but you could always give R-Pod a call and ask them what they suggest. The factory service contact info is:

Thanks for the contacts, and for all the quick responses. I have sent an email.
I will post what the Rpod people say.

How come you said the roof isn't fiberglass?

I can answer that question. 80 to 85% of all RV's has either EPDM or TPO roofs. The other 15 to 20%, such as a teardrop like the R-Pods have fiberglass. A-frames, a few motorhomes and popups are included in this 15 to 20%. bikendan must have forgotten the R-Pod is a teardrop trailer.

My Apologies! 🤤
I mixed up the Rpod with a different small trailer.
