Towing an R Pod

My parents have gotten jealous that my husband and I just bought a new to us TT. They have decided they want to get one. They have found a 176T for a decent price. The salesperson told them it can be pulled with their Ford Focus. Have they been misled? It doesn't seem possible to me.

Thanks. They are wanting to make the purchase tomorrow. They just told me about it this evening.

Your parents need to read the owners manual.
From what I found by Googling, it states to NEVER tow anything with the Focus. There are NO towing packages offered by Ford.

NEVER believe the salesperson without doing some research first, starting with the vehicle's owners manual.

Well, this morning they went to look at it. (Mom's first time and dad's second.) They decided against it. Mom said it was too small. Well duh, it is small.

I suggested that if they were going to get a camper, they really needed a truck. Mom agreed they needed to do more looking.

She had a Dr. appt in Enid, OK this afternoon. At 3:30 she texted me a picture of their new to them kitchen. They bought a Shasta Flyte M-265DB. They have nothing to pull it with. I guess my dh and I will have to pick it up this week.

I hope they know what they are doing. They got rid of their 24 ft camper 7 years ago because it was too much for them. Today they purchased a 29 ft.
