286GSLR Mod Thread

I’ll be updating this thread with the modifications I have/will do to my toy hauler for those interested.

First up is the CRE3000. Install was simple. Stabilizers down, jack stands fore and aft of the axles. Floor jack on the axle I was working on, and jack stand on the other. I also ordered the wet bolt kit, but it’s not here yet.

Next up is a coat rack. We’re a family, and often camp in the mountains or desert where the mornings and evenings can be very cool. Our youngest is 7, so it had to be low enough to reach. Top of the board is 54”Click image for larger version

had one on last toy hauler, first mod to new one. Keeps people from grabbing the sliding plastic panel and pulling it off. We too desert camp a lot and if windy you have to hold the door as you open it, this helps out a LOT for that.

Awesome! Thanks for the link. Its is definitely when the wind kicks up. already ordered! I though it was custom and I would have to make it. This is much easier.
