Tires for toyhaulers

I have been reading a lot about trailer tire failures, I currently have tow masters - Greenball they are 15', I am looking for new tires and 16' rims. Don't want any tires made in China. Too many issues, looking for an E tire, any recommendations.

I put maxxis m8008 on my sandstorm last year. 215/75/R15 went from a load range C to a D. I had trail Americas before and they began to separate with only 1500 miles. And were barely enough when fully loaded. I have been very happy with the maxxis tires. I would recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend GY Marathons. You will find that all ST tires are made in the far East, whether China, Korea, Thailand, etc. No ST tires made in US of A.

We are wanting to put e rated on this time since ours came with C's. Should we stick with the 15' rim or upgrade to 16's.

"ST" is for Special Trailer, I would stay with the 15".

I went from C to E rated 225/75/15. Why buy new 16 inch rims, unless you want to.

Can you purchase a lt tire in a d or e range and still work or do they have to be st tires.

LT tires are for traction and cornering for trucks and suvs. ST tires are specifically designed for straight line towing and side loading for turning.
