$150 Extended Warranty
Just purchased the $150 extra year warranty from Forest River on our 2011 Flagstaff fifth. It is for real. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
Also discussed the sidewall delamination issue, and it was a glue/process issue a few years ago. Totally different process now, and virtually zero problems now.

Yup, it's for real. If you use the search function, this has been discussed a few times in recent months.

It's a good deal on the extra year warranty. Glad to see you got it.
I was told about the bad glue/process issue when I discovered the delam on my '09. I have noticed members have posted delam problems on model years '06 through '10. There may be other years, but that's all I've noticed. That's a pretty good stretch for bad glue/process problems.

Some of those delam complaints on newer models might be from other causes? (I'm just hoping)
The person I talked to at the Flagstaff factory (awesome lady) seemed pretty adamant that they have had almost no issues lately. When one spends 30 grand on a new camper, one tends to hope for the best!

The dealer (#1 dealer in OK) I have been talking to sells the Flagstaffs. He said they have not had any delam problems there. The service manager, whom I talked to seperately, stated the same thing.
I hope no one, ever again, experiences a delam problem. (I know, wishful thinking)
It sure has made me look at my tt differently. I love the floorplan and all the features, just can't trust it if you know what I mean.

We just purchased a new 2013 Sierra Fifth Wheel...Could you please clue me in on the extended factory warranty for $150.00 and how to apply for it? I don't recall seeing it in my owners manual.

Best bet is to contact your dealer. They should of offered it when you bought it. And welcome to the forum.

Thank you sooo very much. Nope, the dealer never offered it. I bet I'll be making a phone call in the morning to find out why. I am delighted to be on this forum. Very informative!!

Fonzie, thank you, thank you!! I talked to my dealer this morning who seemed clueless and told me to contact Forest River. I, of course, only got a voicemail, but thanks to you, I am one step ahead and can now send it off!! My only concern now is that we purchased it on July 3, which is, of course past the 10 day cut off. What do you think? Think they will honor it?

Can't speak for them, but I would send cheque in dated July 12, 2013 and see what happens. either they change it or return it to you.....or you can wait for a phone call from them. It will take about a month before you get a response back from them in the mail.
