Yea I have a 6 mnt old grand daughter but I'm not as patient as I use to be. So she will have to start walking before she starts to tag along we have 2 high schoolers and that can't stand us plus they know everything and want to argue.
I would have been beat down if I acted like that so we don't invite them anymore. We say stay at a friends we r locking house up. Lol

Ha ha ha, ya kids have changed alot!! I too would have taken a serious beat down as a kid if I talked to my parents, or adults in general, the way kids do today.

I read the majority of you guys back and forth conversation to my wife. We both got a kick out of it. It is so true! Our almost 18 year old son could care less about our new toy. He's into his self and things that are important to him. His sister is almost 23 and you wouldn't know they came from the same gene pool!! DW and I can relate about kids now a days! She said to tell you both "it's even tougher as a HS teacher" honestly I don't know how she does it!

I know, I don't know how she does it!!! Some of the things she tells me, I'd go to jail for choking some of them. Then I want to choke the parents who let them think their behavior is acceptable. I really couldn't do it.

I work from home so I'm the one running to school, soccer, track and basketball. And that's the just the youngest. I too would be in jail if I were a teacher. I'm a firm believer of the Bertha hicks child rearing method. A child will re evaluate his or her behavior upon wakening from state of unconsciousness.

Nice thing about grand babies. You can send them home. Lol.
