I just downloaded iexit for my iPhone for our upcoming long trip. It's gotten good reviews. I'm hoping it helps with gas and rest stops.

Fantastic ! Wouldn't have thought of that. Believe I will carry some extra diesel in my race jugs.

I have been using an app called "trucker path" so far. It shows truck stops, truck washes and rest areas (possibly more, but that's all I have used it for) and so far it has been fantastic ! I might look at iexit as well.

We use an app called The Road Ahead. Finds your location and allows you to choose what you want to find, I.e., gas stations, grocery stores, etc.

Trip was a success. Only issue I had was a faulty generator fuel pump while boon docking one night. Temporarily rigged it with a cheap low pressure pump from auto parts store. Nearly 3300 miles and tons of good times.

Boon docked at a truck stop on the way to texas.

Boon docked in my father inlaws driveway for 2 nights.

The Alamo.

Texas ranger museum was awesome.

My son just got back from mexico.

Enjoy the room at truck stops

My grandson and I enjoying the beautiful scenery.(Im a young grandpa at 38)

Cadillac ranch with my to younger kids

Gulfhaven CG near Biloxi, nice CG across the road from the beach....But not very quite being in between a 4-lane and some RR tracks.

and home

I was so excited to see my oldest I forgot to take pics while at the yogi CG near Houston. lol... O well next trip !

a couple of weeks ago we made our first long trip. Charlotte to Minneapolis. Went perfect. So much easier than we thought. Ready to go again.
