1st trip done and over!

5 wonderful nights out in out new surveyor with only minor incidents to report. I sprung/noticed a leak about 3 days in. Finally found it at the water inlet connection for the water filter. Luckily I had turned the access panel into a trap door so getting to it wasn't a problem. Shut the outside water down and sure as anything the fitting was just loose by about a 1/4 turn. A little wrench magic and a nearby fan to dry the area out and all was well again.
We stayed in a campground near Williamsburg, Va called American Heritage. Highly recommend the campground. The bathrooms were palaces and they are only 10 min from all the tourist traps like Bush Gardens, Water Country USA, colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown (the state run recreation is impressive) and the Yorktown battlefield.

We brought too much food and need to work on organization/packing but all in all it was a great trip.

I think one of the issues with RVs is that there is a lot of bouncing around going on back there when being towed. Stuff works loose. I NEVER leave home without my toolbox in the bed of the truck. RV = tinker, tinker

Glad you had fun! The biggest problem I have had with my new Flagstaff is plumbing leaks too. I found a leak like yours at the filter during the PDI. That was fixed but on our first trip found a major leak at the backflow preventer at the city water supply I couldn't get to. Had to live off bottled water the rest of that trip. Back to the dealer to get that leak fixed. The next trip I found water leaking through the floor under the kitchen. Found a good leak from the cold connection to the faucet. Took care of theat one with a half turn of a wrench. All was well until I discovered water leaking through the floor under where the filter and pump reside. Both fittings to the filter and one of the fittings to the pump were leaking. It must have been plumbed on a monday!

Personally, I can't promise you that will get any better

I just finished up 2 weeks of camping in my trailer & this was going to be the year we "didn't buy too much food".

We went so far as to make out menu's for each week before we went to the grocery store & only brought what we needed to make the items on the menu.

I'm sitting here typing this on my laptop, having a cup of coffee in the living room ....because the dining room table is completely covered in leftover food from the camping trip that we pulled out of the trailer yesterday.

As far as the organization goes ..... We gave up on that ages ago

Stuff the trailer 1/3 full when you leave & all the stuff in the trailer will expand to fill the trailer within 24 hours after your arrival at campsite * thinks there is a camping physics theorum that explains this somewhere
