2012 Hershey RV Show
Anybody here going to the Hershey RV Show this year ??
I just made reservations at a local campground for Sept. 11th to the 14th. I plan on doing the show on the 12th and 13th.

Would love to be their but have a show to work in Wildwood, NJ that week. Might try to stop by on Sunday on the way back home to western NY.

Our family has been wanting to make a trip up there for Hershey Park and catch the huge RV show at the same time, it'll be good to hear some reviews on the show and preferred campgrounds nearby

I'll be there, going to the show 14th/15th...... As far as campgrounds many are filling up in the area from what I understand. If you've never been its something to see....

New to the forum.... The wife and I will be there shopping for our first trailer the 13th & 14th. Booked reservations at a nearby hotel.

I went to the show for just 1/2 day a couple of years ago while on the way back from a trip to CT. 1/2 day does not do justice. I am planning on 2 full days this time, and still don't know if I can get it all in.
I made reservations yesterday here: Harrisburg East Campground and Storage
30 amp electric and water is $30 per nite, sewer was $5 more.....I can stop by the dump station on the way out, no porblem. Google shows this campground at 8 miles from Hershey. There were campgrounds closer, but they were in the $50 per nite range.....geez.
I understand they are booked for the weekend already, but still had spots through Thursday nite.....the guy told me I had to pull out on Friday. I will post a campground review for those interested in next year.

Chap, how are you doing? My wife and I are still RV-LESS. We have been looking sence we lost our Rock Wood to Harricane Irene last September we have gone to a few show near by but still undecided.
We looked at a few owner sales and boy I am telling you the last one was a joke, we traveled approx 1 hour from home after a 3 hour trip home from work to look at this so call excellent condition RV by Keystone a 2004, the owner said it even smelled like new, well to make a long story short as I pulling up to the camper I noticed a lot of green around it once I part in front of it the green was on the camper...NO the camper was not green in color, the camper was setting under a tree for some time and was never clean, when we entered the rv his wife was dusting the inside and NO it did not smell like new I will just let it go at that, and that was the end of that.
We will be at the Hershey show as well but we will be there on the 14th. We will be staying at Hershey Thousand Trails off of RT-322 we will be about 6 miles from the show.

I have changed jobs twice in the past year and at this time I do not have enought time in to take time off right now. I no longer work in VA at the Air and Space Museum, I now work in Washington DC with a new company, but if I had the time I would come up earlier and try to meet up with you somewhere.
Chap enjoy the RV Show and be safe in your travels, we will meet up some day......
