2016 Flagstaff V Lite WFKSS

I am a NEWBIE to camping and just purchased the above mentioned travel trailer. Can someone tell me how to open the outside vent for the range hood / exhaust? I can see two tabs but I am unsure whether to push, pull, lift, etc. It is awful tight. I don't want to break something before I get started

I tried to copy the link (above) to a previous post where someone else asked the same question. You push upward and out on the two plastic thumb tabs at the bottom of the vent. This picture is from a previous post on same topic.

Mine had caulking sealing it. I had to remove the caulking before it would open.
