Inside lobby of Hotel Paisano and hotel sign. The cast of Giant stayed here during the early days of filming before finding other housing.Click image for larger version

We are in Fort Stockton TX.for the night. I have better wifi and figured out why I can only post one pic at a time. It will not help a lot but it answers a question I had. More pics to come in a little while.

We are now in Fredericksburg TX for the next two weeks. I figured out why I can usually only post one pick at a time. This website only accepts pics up to 5 MB. Many of my pics are larger than that so it will only accept one at a time. I will not change quality to do more pics at one time. So here are some more pics no matter how they upload.

ID:	198622 which is the boyhood home of Roy Orbison. The Museum is small and staffed by 3 volunteers. It is sad because someone of his stature in the music industry deserves better.

We also made a visit to Monohan's Sand Dunes State Park which is also near Wink TX. The park is small and not really much to look at most of the dunes up close are covered in scrub brush. We have been to Whites Sands and these are no comparison. I know only Monahan's is actual sand but still not impressive IMHO.Click image for larger version

I now have to apologize for the site only accepting 5MB pics. Each of the last three pics were larger then that and uploaded together. My Bad. Good internet tops all.

Hi! DBLR no we are not going anywhere else in NM. We must have been very lucky because had no idea bad weather was headed that way. We were near Dexter last week which was hit by a Tornado. We passed through Loving on Tues morning which was also hit by a Tornado on Tues night or early Wednesday morning. We are now in Fredericksburg TX for two weeks. We got out of town just in time it seems because neither of those places are far from Carlsbad.

GREAT pictures. And as I have been looking at them the past couple weeks, I can only say, "I'm envious". [emoji3]
