Hello Camper70!
We've been coming down here for the past 5 years and just LOVE it here! After coming here our 1st year, we couldn't imagine NOT coming back. We stay for 2 months.
Where are you staying?
-Rich

We are down in Florida for the winter. Believe it or not, fulltime and 3 years and thereís still a ton of country we havenít hit!

I was just looking at the southern tip of Texas and there were quite a few 55+ parks that Iím sure wouldnít want my couple of rug rats running around. Weíll get there eventually, though!

45RPM we will be staying at Seven Oaks Resort. I'm loving the temps on the internet. Just what the doctor ordered.
You know Ependydad if you found a warm spot in Florida for the winter that's not bad either. I can't plan far enough ahead to find a spot in Florida so that is why I'm going elsewhere. I made the plans for this Texas trip in late Nov. and could have had my pick of places to stay. There are a lot of 55+ parks but I'm sure you could find something. Although probably not many other kids to hang with.

We bounce around in winter and donít usually plan much further in advance than November or so. Plus, we have to stay places for a week since I work 9-5 most weekdays.

Of course, there are still 2 days in February that I have nowhere to stay!

Living through you that can be camping......weíre so envious.

However......Iíve seen no bugs

Sorry you can't get out and go but it doesn't look you have any snow yet. My home town got 3-4 inches of snow yesterday. We've been dealing with the low 50's most days but yesterday it got up to 68 in Breaux Bridge La. where we stayed last night at Poche's RV Park. We are in El Campo TX. for the night and will make our final push for Mission Tx. tomorrow. I have some pictures I'll try to post a little later.

We did a small tour of sites in Meridian Ms. yesterday. I will attempt to attach some pictures of Merrehope Mansion and Historic Rose Hill Cemetery.

The Dentzel Carousel has been in operation since 1909. The horses placed around town are to honor the history of the 2 row stationary Carousel. It was manufactured in 1895. It is a National Historic Landmark.
